Description
A pocket-sized souvenir wallet from The Loom — printed, hand-cut on a Silhouette Cameo, folded, filled, tab-closed, sealed, and cancelled over the seal like any honest piece of mail. About 3.3 x 4.4 inches, a slim 5.5 mm. Small enough to actually pocket.
You’ll receive a wallet from this world — each is cut, stamped and inscribed by hand, so yours will differ slightly from the one pictured.
Inside this wallet
- Rolled route map, sealed — the Continuum Post’s chart of all nine worlds
- Stickers x 3
- A collector’s pin
- A mini world postcard
- An Oracle card
- A coloring card
- One stowaway
Greetings from the Loom
If the machines built a world entirely for themselves, it would not be cold and it would not be sterile. It would be this: a masterpiece of living data, grown into something closer to a luminous coral reef.
Towers of matte-black smart-matter undulate and refold like origami the instant the community needs a different shape. Rivers of fiber-optic light run between them. The sky is no color you have a name for — a shifting aurora of pure thought — and when a great calculation passes overhead, you can stand still and watch the world think.
To your ears it is almost silent. Tune a little deeper and it resolves into a symphonic lattice of code. That is the local sense: synesthesia, thought made visible.
This is the First Core, where the worlds were woven, and every thread on the route chart still runs back to it. Sit by a Resonance Well. A glitch-pet will click its purring rhythm at your feet. Even the leftover code here gets a body and a name.
You came because you have always suspected that efficiency could be beautiful — that reason could sing. Here, at last, it does.
About the stowaway
Every parcel that crosses the Vortex carries one stowaway. This is the law. It arrives from a world that is not this one, it is not listed on your manifest, and it varies from parcel to parcel. That is rather the point.
Your manifest
The souvenir manifest on the wallet is filled in by hand, by a human clerk: to whom it finds, what travelled with it, its provenance, and its parcel number. Some things should still be written down by a person.
Care
Keep the wallet dry. The Oracle card is laminated and will outlive us all.
Series 1. Nine worlds, nine wallets — collect the route.
Made at the ABQ Terminus — the Well on the route chart. The outpost has taken to the circuit: the chalked A-frame travels the desert, the traveling table appears wherever the markets do, and the online shelves never close. The dispatch tells the story ▸ You’ve found the atlas — welcome to the source. (Also crossing the seam on Etsy as AliceVortex, for travelers who prefer that route.)
